How to sign up / register for a lesson:
Visit the lesson page (see links below) and once you select the appropriate lesson you would like to reserve:
- click on “register online” and that will bring you to the lesson product item where you select your desired date. Continue through and complete your payment
- Once your payment is completed, you will immediately receive an order confirmation via email including your order number
- Within 24 hours or receiving your order number, we will send you a formal lesson confirmation email including the details on your lesson date and time, what to wear/bring, directions, and our cancellation policy (see below)
How do I know if a spot if available before I sign up / register for the lesson I want?
As long as you sign up a few days before your desired date, typically spots are available and we send you a confirmation within 24 hours of your lesson registration/purchase. The best way to secure a spot for a lesson is to purchase one as soon as you have your desired date. If that is the only date you can go for a lesson and we are not able to confirm your desired date, we will be happy to refund your payment. However, once we have confirmed your desired date, we do not allow cancellations (see cancellation policy below).
When are lessons offered and at which locations?
Our group lesson times/dates/locations are detailed on our lesson information pages below. For private lessons, we teach 7 days a week.
How do I know what to bring or what to wear to my lesson?
Once you pay / register for a lesson, we send you a confirmation within 24 hours including a link to directions and what to bring / wear.
How do I find directions to Boardsports for my lesson?
We send you a link to directions in your lesson confirmation. You can also see directions on our ABOUT page
How do I know if the weather will be good for my lesson?
We monitor the weather forecast closely. If the forecast is bad for the lesson you signed up for, we will proactively contact you and arrange for a time for you to reschedule. if you don’t hear from us, please show up as confirmed.
Can I change my lesson date once my lesson has been confirmed?
If you contact us at least 72 hours in advance of your confirmed lesson (please contact us by email and phone to be sure you reach us), we will see if we can move your lesson date to a future date. If we are sold out or unable to fill your spot, a full forfeit would apply (please view our cancellation policy below).
Can I just show up for a lesson without registering or signing up?
All of our lessons require advance registration/payment. We are typically sold out on the day of, so showing up without signing up in advance is not recommended.
What is the lesson cancellation policy?
Once we confirm your desired date, we do not allow cancellations or refunds. We monitor the weather forecast closely. If the forecast is bad, we will proactively contact you and arrange for a time for you to reschedule. if you don’t hear from us, please show up as confirmed.
